Here is a duo of Bill Harris portraits, taken in the same time period as the Achievement Award photo, downstairs at the Scarab Club. Bill is active in Detroit literary circles as a poet and a playwright, and has recently premeriered a play of his in St. Louis. |
Also downstairs at the Scarab Club: James Semark introduces Judith Semark to Sheri Reysser. Judith's background is from the Trans-Love Ann Arbor commune and Sheri lived in the Castle (Workshop period). Bill Harris is in the foreground and Michael Jernigan looks on. |

Liebler portraits. ML was very active in organizing the reception, a collaboration between his group (Springfed-Detroit Metro Writers) and the DAW. ML also emceed the November 6 WSU concert and the November 7 closing program, back at the Scarab Club. Aside from his professorship duties in the WSU English Department, ML performs locally with his own group, the Magic Poetry Band. |
